We are American Labradoodle breeders, specializing in miniature and medium sized Australian Labradoodle puppies. We also are now offering Double Doodles, otherwise known as North American Retrievers. This is a labrdoodle x goldendoodle.
You might be wondering, “What kind of dogs are Labradoodles, exactly?”
Labradoodles, as a breed, are lovable, intelligent and beautiful dogs. Bred to be service dogs; they are wonderful with children, making Labradoodles great family pets. Many other dog breeds come with a warning like “this pet is not for you if…” That is not the case with Labradoodles! The Labradoodle was bred to be the perfect pet. Labradoodles are intelligent, healthy, dogs with lovable friendly personalities and best of all; Labradoodles have easy care coats, ranging from low to no shedding, with hypoallergenic qualities!
“So what is the difference between a regular Labradoodle and an Australian Labradoodle?”
That is a very good question. The main difference between common Labradoodles and Australian Labradoodles is in their coats. An Australian Labradoodle is NOT just a Labrador/Poodle cross, like a common Labradoodle. Australian Labradoodles have ancestors from Australia whose pedigrees include Cocker Spaniel, Wheaton Terrier and Portuguese Water-dog, along with their Labrador and Poodle bloodlines. Australian Labradoodles were originally developed to make service dogs available to people with allergy concerns. Generations of breeding, have developed a more consistently fleece and allergy friendly coat, whereas many common Labradoodles can have coats that shed and are not allergy friendly. At Pine Lodge Labradoodles we work to continue the Australian Labradoodle tradition, producing mainly miniature and medium size Australian Labradoodles, with allergy friendly coats.
We are American breeders of Australian Labradoodles and Double Doodles. Our puppies are meeting the standards set by the Australian Labradoodle Association of American and the International Australian Labradoodle Association, Inc. Our Labradoodle puppies are CKC, ILA and ACLA registerable.
Pine Lodge Labradoodles is committed to breeding excellence and providing excellent care for our puppies. We believe that puppies should be loved and socialized from birth. All our puppies are raised in our home in Oregon’s Willamette Valley, so our Labradoodle puppies have room to romp and play in the fresh air.
