It was a very exciting election time this term. We all received lots of phone calls, lots of pamphlets in the mail about this candidate or what someone thought of that candidate. We saw signs in many yards, along many roads. We heard from the candidates about their platforms and resolutions. We heard from the candidates about the faults of their aponents. And then, in one day, it is over! For some of us we are happy with the outcome. For some of us, we are dissapointed with the outcome. No matter how we see it, it’s over. We need to move on. We need to be part of our communities, contributing meaningfully.
It is interesting that, now that it is over, the talk is turned to dogs! Of course it turns to dog… where else do we go to celebrate… or to “lick our wounds”.
In case you haven’t heard, the talk of dogs, comes from when our president elect told his daughters in his acceptance speech, that they had indeed earned a new puppy. Of course America has latched on to that! We all love to see our American First Family have a dog! But what kind? There is some talk of a labradoodle or a goldendoodle as there are allergies in Obama family. I of course cast my vote for that.
Actually, why not both? How about a Labradoodle/Goldendoodle mix, or in other words, a North American Retriever! It’s kind of like neopolotin ice cream… having a little of all your favorites.
So, for instance if you take Parti Scout:
Scout is a beautiful parti Goldendoodle.
And you cross her with a very hansome Labradoodle like
This will equal…. a beautiful dog with all the qualities of a labradoodle AND a goldendoodle!
So Obama’s, I suggest a North American Retriever for your family. And while you are at it, I am sure it will make a political statement: ok, I am not sure exactly what that statement is… maybe it is unity, maybe it is taking the best…maybe it is diversity. Maybe it is about America … “North American Retrievers.”
Yeah for America!
