Here at the Pine Lodge we have been experiencing more snowy weather. This is very unusual for our area. Right now we are having a “silver thaw”…. except we’re not thawing!

We are all spending more time inside of course. I just thought I would share with you a couple of pictures of the older dogs, and what they do on a cold snowy, icy Sunday morning.

In our loft room, where we just hang out and relax, the dogs may sit on any furniture they like, as long as they make room for us. This all of our favorite room as it is warm, bright and cozy.

Here are three of the girls, Sydney, Annie and Mazy. They look so comfortable! But let’s take a closer look at Mazy…

What is Mazy doing? Mazy, her real name is Quad Cities’ ‘Mazin Grace, looks very, very comfortable. But let’s take a closer look…

Well, look at that! This girl really knows how to relax! She has managed to cover her eyes, so that her rest might be more peaceful! This Mazy is quite a girl! She is total Miss personality!

Annie, ever alert, sat up when she realized she was on camera!

Sydney, she opened her eyes, but didn’t bother moving…

But not ‘Mazy Grace! She just slept like it was night time!

Guess I will go take a nap also!
