Today we had two labradoodle visitors stop in to visit us from Edmonds, Washington.
Meet Tucker… I think….
and…
Cooper, Tucker’s brother. I may have these two confused.
These two beautiful labradoodle boys are F1B Labradoodle puppies of Shelly Labrador and Bobby Monroe, a toy poodle. I can still remember the day Gerry, Coop and Tuck’s “Mom”, drove down from Edmonds to look at the Shelly’s labradoodle puppies. She was interested in one of the puppies, from the description I had given her over the phone and e-mail. She had driven down with her friend Erik. Well, she got here and the puppy she came to see was certainly sweet, but another labradoodle puppy came right up to her and bonded! She was sitting on the grass with these puppies all over her. She kept exclaiming, “Oh I love puppy breath! I love puppy kisses!” Before she left she had to wash her glasses so she could see to drive home! It was such a tough decision between the two puppies, that she decided on… both! She and Erik had not been gone 15 minutes when we received a phone call from them. We were sure she had changed her mind about two! No, Erik had decided he better reserve a labradoodle puppy also! They turned around and he picked out a little labradoodle pup also. His labradodole runs the art gallery he and his companion own!
Here are Cooper and Tucker as young puppies… again, I can’t tell which is which!
You can see what beautiful boys Cooper and Tucker are. They have nice fleecy coats. I was very impressed with their grooming… and then I find out that Gerry does it herself.
The labradoodle boys may look alike, but they each truly have their own personality, Gerry says! She takes them to work occasionally and they are quite well known there. They also get a well rounded life by going to doggy day care 3 days of the week.
Thank you Gerry, Cooper and Tucker for coming to visit us back at the Pine Lodge! Our doodles are always welcomed.
