I love finding treats that my dogs love… those cute puppy dog eye’s, that look at you adoringly… It just can’t be beat!

Recently Ciselle sent this great video with a wonderful idea.  Ciselle has a Sydney/Fella puppy named Binky.  They live in Rotterdam.  This family is always doing wonderful things with their “Baby.”  She told me she was feeding him treats of  icees.  Well, I thought, this family is pretty extravagant with their poochy.  They probably do feed him that over priced dog ice cream.

For an example of a gourmet doggy ice cream company, check out Cold Nose Creamery.   With flavors like puppernut, puppernilla and puppermint, who couldn’t refuse to indulge their little wet nose friend?

Out on the market you can also find mini dog cones at posh doggie vendors or freeze dried doggy ice cream… what will be next?

As I conversed with Ciselle more on the internet, I discovered that she didn’t BUY Binky’s cold treats.. she MADE them!  She uses these really cool popsicle molds and makes his treat with a little fruit juice and water.trays

After doing some researching on line, there are many recipes out there.  Of course my lazy method was to put a doggie biscuit in an ice cube tray, fill it with water and VOILLA!  Pupsicles!  I do think Ciselle’s has a bit more class.

I did find a recipe that I am going to try.  (Thank you Ciselle for the wonderful popsicle trays, just like yours!)  The canine chef of this recipe calls hers “Frosty Paws.”  I am thinking that even my husband will eat these!  Here is a link to the recipe:  Frosty Paw Recipe.

If you are still not sure about pupsicle’s for your canine friend, check out Binky’s video.  I think you will agree that he think’s they are pretty fantastic!
