At this time of year, I often reflect on my life and the past year. I was doing that and counting my many blessings. I wanted to share with you 5 wonderful blessings I have and I am so thankful for!
A guardian family is a special family that a breeder very, very carefully chooses to take care of one or more of their dogs. They need to have all the qualities of a dog owner that the breeder is looking for and also be willing to cooperate in the breeding process. This means their dog will be gone from them, from time to time. They have to give it the best care possible because they are their pets, but also future breeders.
I am fortunate enough to have 5 such families! If you got to know these people, you might also try to move in with them! They love and care for their pets like they are their children… well, actually some say they are their children… Let me introduce you to Pine Lodge’s Guardian Families.
Meet the Blakleys. They are our first guardian home. They have had Scout since she was a puppy. Scout loves her family and when she is here with her puppies…. she knows when they drive up and goes wild!
Meet the Vrontakis family… well most of them. Nick isn’t in this picture. They are Annie’s loving family. They have made Annie assured she is the best doggie in the world! When she is here at Pine Lodge, they visit her each week… they have even m ailed her post cards!
Meet the Davis Family. Bella is even lucky enough to have an older, but smaller, brother, Otis. The Davis’ have had Bella since she was a puppy and arrived at Pine Lodge. Heather came over and said they wanted to be her family… without asking Troy first! Good thing Troy loves Bella also.
Meet Gladdy’s family, the Laytons. Gladdy is the name the Layton’s gave Glad-It’s-Night. Gladdy has a “sister,” Shasta, to play with at her house. Gladdy is a very content Double Doodle. She is Scout’s daughter and Heather ( Bella’s Mom) is the Layton’s daughter. Small world!
Meet Tobias’ family, Brigham and Debra Alcorn. They have had Toby since he was a young puppy. Brigham is our oldest son. Debra did such an impressive job training Toby, we have had her train a few other puppies… you can see she has Trixie there, on her lap. Tobias loves, loves, loves his family!
I wanted you to meet these people who are quietly behind the scenes, but play a BIG part in the program we have at Pine Lodge Labradoodles. We are so happy to have them be a part of us.
THANKS GUYS!
