This is Sydney Doodle here. Scharae came to stay the night last night at the Pine Lodge. It’s her first time all by herself! Her older sister came and stayed without her a couple of weeks ago, when she had her tonsils out. Scharae thought it was her turn. Us dogs kind of like the little kids, but sometimes we do have to teach them a thing or two…
Scharae started the morning out by playing dolls. She dragged the baby bed out, full of babies and blankets and magic bottles.

“What are you doing Scharae, ” I asked.
“Well, Sydney, I am playing babies. I am their mom and I have to take care of them,” she said.
“Um…. why don’t we read a book? You want to read me a book Scharae?” I asked her, licking her hand.
“No. Hey, somethings wrong…”
“She’s just had.. a.a. She’s disabled.” I told her.
“Disabled? She use to not be disabled. Where’s her hand?”
“Remember that rule at Nana’s house to not leave any toys on the floor? I think she got left on the floor and some dog…not me of course, “borrowed” her hand.” I explained.
“Did you eat her hand Sydney? That is so sad,” Scharae told me. “But it’s ok baby. Everybody is different.”
About that time Tasey came in… and thankfully distracted her!
“Look at this toy Scharae!” Tasey said
“What is it?”
“It’s a dog toy… well not a dog toy, like a toy for a dog. But a toy that is a dog. Push the paw! He he he! She talks.” Tasey said.
“Hmm… it must be a mommy dog. She’s feeding her babies.”
I then told Scharae it was time for breakfast, so we headed downstairs.
Scharae got this out:
She poured herself a bowl and was beginning to eat….
“What?” she asked.
“What are you thinking? Would your mom want you to eat that sugary, full of ARTIFICIAL DYES cereal? Is that healthy? Is that going to help make you strong?”
“Well,” Scharae started.” I hadn’t thought about all of that. It just looks so yummy. What should I do?”
I suggested a more healthy breakfast….
not to mention that SHOULD she accidently drop some of it on the floor, it will be something I will want to clean up!
I sure enjoyed the kid

Boy, Scharae sure has some good vocabulary in this blog! Oh wait, no…that’s right, it’s KEIRA that has the big vocabulary!
So did she eat cereal AND grapes/eggs for breakfast? That’s a lot of food for her for breakfast!
We would NEVER feed her cereal with artifical dye in it! Not us!
Uh, I think Syney would still eat trix.
