Scout as a puppy

We got Scout about 2.5 years ago when she was just 8 weeks old. It was love at first sight! She was absolutely adorable! She was our first and our only goldendoodle so far. She’s an f1b from Abracadoodles.

Scout immediately moved in with her Guardian family, The Blakleys. She came back to Pine Lodge for “doggie daycare” while her family was at school and work. So we enjoyed watching her grow up as well.

Scout’s family takes her everywhere.

She’s seen around town.  On runs and swimming in the local creek.

Here she is wearing her bandana for the annual Silverton Pet Parade.

She is seen at church on activity night. She goes into a high school classroom every Thursday. She also goes in frequently at the middle school and has even gone to the elementary school with Emillee.

We bought Scout to breed our first Double Doodles. What are Double Doodles? They are a new and very exciting breed. It is a goldendoodle bred to a labradoodle.  Scout has given us two beautiful litters!

Her offspring can be found up and down the northwest coast, in Texas and in Europe. She has dogs that are now learning to be seeing eye dogs and help/service dogs.

Scout’s puppy days are over. She ended up with a health condition that caused her to need to be spayed. She was such an excellent mommy and had such lovely puppies, we hated to see it happen . We have kept one of her daughters to breed with also. Her name is Glad It’s Night.

She will have Double Doodle Puppies this fall. Scout also has two sons named Dudley and Forest  who will be part of another breeders programs. So Scout’s legacy will carry on!

Scout will have more time to go to school now. She spent a Saturday in a parade this past month. She will probably work on some other certification for service.

Thank you Scout for being the wonderful dog and mother you were.  Thanks for all the smiles and fun times.   We could not have asked for more. And thank you Blakley family for being a wonderful family for Scout!  Happy Retirement!

We own Wrigley (Moolah) from Scout’s first litter. She is a spitting image of Scout and I posted pictures on My Family website. She lives with our family in the San Francisco Bay area and lives a very active fun life. Thank you Scout for giving us Wrigley- she is amazing.
