Summer evenings at Pine Lodge can be pretty laid back and relaxing.  Let me share this evening with you.

Roy and I took our nice glasses of ice water and went outside to sit in our rockers on the lawn.  And of course the dogs came along too. Some enjoyed just laying around.  Here is Lovie, getting a laugh out of watching the other dogs.

And Sydney enjoyed stirring things up, and then sitting back and watching!

The dogs enjoyed chasing each other around….

Every now and then catching each other, and wrestling.  Here Gibson has Mazy pinned until she will give up!

Some of the dogs liked to do some serious snooping and exploring!  Tasey and O My are on to something!

And of course best of all, getting some attention from Roy and I!

While we are sitting there, we decided it was a perfect time to tend to the dogs ears.  Of course, that was our idea, not theirs!

Keeping a dogs ears clean and not too hairy is so important.  The labradoodle is prone to yeast infections in the ear and other infections.  BUT…. This is so easy to avoid, by just keeping their ears clean! On our website we have a couple of tutorials that will help you if you do not know how to do

this.  You can see them HERE.

You can either buy ear cleaner or  make your own.  To make your own, mix half rubbing alcohol and half white vinegar together and store in a squirt bottle.

There are any ear cleaners available on the market.  This is my favorite:It is put out by a company called Cain and Able.  I can hook you up with some if you like.

And there you have it.  An evening at Pine Lodge!
